Applications

Heavy-duty gear parts, bolts, shafts, bushings, shift sleeves for mechanical and automotive engineering

Heat Treatment

Soft annealing: Soft annealing takes place at temperatures of 650 °C - 700 °C.

Tempering: Tempering is carried out at temperatures of 170 °C - 210 °C.

Direct hardening: Single hardening takes place at temperatures of 850 °C - 880 °C.

Weldability

The material 1.6523 is usually weldable.
