Material 1.5680

Tough at subzero steel

The material 1.5680 is a cold-tough quality alloyed with nickel. Screws and connecting elements are often made from 1.5680. These screws can be used down to a temperature range of approx. -190 C°. 1.5680 has high toughness even at very low temperatures. Due to its toughness, the material does not become brittle when cold, which is very important when the finished parts are exposed to mechanical stress.
