Nitrierstahl

Der Werkstoff 1.8515 ist ein Nitrierstahl. Nitrierstähle finden immer Anwendung wenn eine hohe Oberflächenhärte, ein guter Verschleißwiderstand und ein duktiler Kernbereich gefordert ist. 31CrMo12 wird häufig im Automobilbau und im allgemeinen Maschinenbau verwendet.
