Stainless steel
The material 1.4021 is a martensitic stainless steel.
Due to its high chromium content, the X20Cr13 achieves good
corrosion resistance in moderately aggressive and non-chlorinated media.
The Pren value is between 12 - 14.
X20Cr13 is suitable for use at temperatures up to 400 C° and can be
polished to a high gloss.

Kaynaklanabilirlik
The material 1.4021 must be heated up to 100°C to 300°C before welding.
After welding, the workpiece must be cooled to a temperature below approx. 120°C before it is tempered at approx. 650°C. Tempering is necessary to ensure ductility. When welding under gas, gas containing hydrogen or nitrogen must not be used, as this has an unfavorable effect on the mechanical properties.
